How to Play 4K Video on Android Galaxy S4

Is that any possible way to make Galaxy S4 4K supported right now? Or to say, is that any means to import 4K to Android devices for playback? To tell you the truth, if you only want to play 4K video on Galaxy S4 or other high-end Android devices like HTC One, Xperia Z, etc., here is a possible way: search Google Play for a third-party video player called the MX Player. However, there're limitations within the MX Player: 1. since Android phones don't natively support 4K playback, most of the time, MX Player cannot play 4K video on Galaxy S4/Android devices smoothly (as you can see in the test video below); 2. it doesn't support some video format such as .flv and .wmv. Add 4K files to the app

Set output format

If you want to preserve the original 4K quality and playback in MX Player, you should choose a suitable output format in the "HD Video" tab. Whereas you need to downscale 4K to 1080P for smoothly playback on Galaxy S4 or other Android devices, you can choose the optimal output presets within the "Profile" list. Start the 4K conversion
