How to Convert SWF

First and foremost, download the SWF Converter and then install it to your computer. Once the converter is installed, double click the icon to run it and follow the step below to launch the conversion with ease.

Firstly, import the SWF files into the converter. No more special skills, just simply click the "Select File" icon on the upper left of the main interface, browse media folder you save the .swf file, choose it and then press "Open", the file will be imported into the program automatically.

Secondly, choose proper output format for the imported file. To do this, first play the SWF video, and then hit "Profile" menu bar and you will see a drop-down list, where different video formats and optimal presets for applications like iMoive, Final Cut Pro, portable devices like iPhone 5, iPad Mini, etc. exist. Just select the one meets your need as the output format. For instance, if you want to play Flash SWF on your Galaxy S4, you can choose "Samsung" > "Samsung Galaxy S IV(*.mp4)" as the output format.

Lastly, click the big button on the lower right to go to the conversion window. There, press the "Start" button to begin the conversion from SWF to the designated video format. By "play/pause" the SWF video, and dragging the process bar, you can control over the whole conversion in real-time, which means you will get certain part/parts of the video as per your need. Click "Stop", then the SWF file will be converted perfectly. A pop-up window will show you the destination of the converted file.

Set output video parameters

Click the “gear” icon besides the “Profile” menu bar where you can customize the detailed output video/audio parameters including encoder, frame rate, bitrates, resolution, sample rate, channels, etc. Therefore, you can freely use the "Default" or "Customize" mode according to your need.

Crop SWF

The "Crop" function is one of the key features of this SWF Converter. By using it, you can easily crop the unwanted part like the black frame or logo of the SWF file. To do so, simply use the mouse to drag the dashed frame or fill out the blanks of Left, Bottom, Width and Height to set the video dimension.

Add watermark

Also in the "Crop" window, you can add watermark to the SWF file. Adding watermark is an important way to protect your copyright. For this, you can hit the "folder" icon to browse your local disk for the image file. You can customize the dimension, location and transparency of the watermark freely.

How to Uninstall SWF Converter

Windows

Go to Start > All Programs > Firecoresoft > SWF Converter > Uninstall SWF Converter

Mac

1. Go to the folder containing Firecoresoft SWF Converter for Mac.

2. Drag SWF Converter for Mac to the Trash icon in the Dock. You'll need administrative rights if it's installed in your Applications folder.

3. Remove SWF Converter for Mac icon from your Dock, simply drag it out of the Dock with your mouse.
